Lifting PAUSE Does Not Mean Immediate Return to Normal Activities

The lifting of PAUSE does not mean that we should immediately return to normal activities. The state refers to the next few months as a process of “slowly opening the valve” to avoid a resurgence in cases. As such, ADK will continue to discourage in-person meetings and gatherings until further notice. This applies to outings, group hikes, events, and in-person chapter meetings.

For context, ADK has cancelled all in-person programming through June 30 and all overnight programs through July 23. We are regularly assessing those dates and may need to extend them if conditions change.
