I led this hike with Terry, Nancy, and Jonathan. This hike is rated hard by AllTrails, but it was a nice mix of short steep rocky ascents and flatter trail sections. There were many pretty little wildflowers including Dutchman’s breeches, yellow violets, spring beauties, and trout lilies. There was very little snow at the top but it was chilly. There was a nice overlook where we could see Ashokan Reservoir, beautiful long waterfalls by the road, and the famous Blue Hole swimming hole across the road.
