Because of the weather we headed south instead of north as originally planned. Terry, Paul, and I hiked the Timp Trail in Bear Mountain State Park with views of the Hudson River including Indian Point Nuclear Power Plant across the water. We saw many flowers in bloom including mountain laurel, multiflora rose, and huckleberry blossoms. The trail was well marked.
