I led a hike with Terry, Paul, and Rose on the Colgate Trail from Colgate Lake to Eastkill Falls and up to the Escarpment Trail and had lunch a short distance past this junction. It was a beautiful sunny day. The falls were nice, the lake was pretty, and we had some views where we had lunch. The trail was wet in many places, we had one tricky creek crossing. The trail was well marked in most places, had three bridges, and a boardwalk in one spot. There wasn‘t much elevation gain. We were off trail a couple times but AllTrails and Gaia helped to quickly get us back on track.
