Educational Presentation
Lois Jensen talked about her work as a trail head Stewart for Buck Mountain in the Lake George area. How it was important to talk to incoming hikers and make them aware of what the trail entailed. Because of its closeness to the Lake George tourist area she often encounters hikers who are not properly dressed and equipped. In her role as Stewart she then needs to gently and diplomatically tell them that maybe they should consider another trail.
