Let your voice be heard in support for New York’s state parks! Register for Park Advocacy Day which will take place on March 4, in Albany. Join PTNY and other park advocates to support the continued revitalization of our state parks system.
As a park advocate, you’ll join other park supporters from across the state and meet with policymakers to stress the importance of supporting funding for state parks. In 2019 we are supporting the proposed increase for the Park and Trail Partnership Program to $1 million, which will enable state park and DEC Friends groups to expand their impact and strengthen the state’s outdoor heritage of public-private partnership. Your efforts will impact legislators as they make important decisions about parks.

Participating in Park Advocacy Day is meaningful, fun, and easy! Once registered, you’ll be assigned to a team with fellow state parks supporters who, along with an experienced team leader, will join you in meetings with policymakers throughout the day.
